It's a new year and the war against Olympus will soon wrap up. I am planning two final novels to finish the series that will come out sometime in 2021. The first of the two books will be The War of Ghosts, which you can see the cover art below. In between these will be one, maybe two more novellas similar to War Dog - simple, fast past stories that focus on one hero from the series. I found War Dog was well received and I enjoyed writing it quite a bit, so I would like to do some more yarns similar to that.
Apart from the final books, I am currently busy getting the first six novels (and War Dog) into audiobook format for Audible, Amazon and Itunes. The process is soul-crushingly long and tedious. The first book has been approved at a quality assurance level but is stuck in the 'Headed to Retail' phase of publishing. I'm putting an enormous amount of work into recording these books and I want them to be as good as they possibly can, so I beg for your patience. My goal is to have all six books at least on their way to the ACX publishing process by the end of March. I received proofs of the print versions of all of the books, but due to numerous errors and a lack of additional funds, I have not been able to redo the proofs yet to the point where they are at the level of quality I demand of them. Once I am finished with the Audible versions of the series, I will devote everything to finishing the print copies of the series up for anyone interested in them. So to wrap up, I want to thank you all for reading my Code of War series these past several years and I promise this year will deliver more of what you guys expect from it. Stand tall and fight Olympus! Audiobook version of Olympus Rises is on its way to ACX for review. The site has mentioned it can take anywhere from 30 to 60, even 90 days to review and accept the book into the Audible catalogue (due to long queues), so fingers crossed it is given the go ahead fairly quick.
It was an interesting learning experience, as it's been some time since I've done any acting (even though my schooling is in theater and film) and I had to do my best to unlearn many bad habits in my speech. I think the overall quality is as good if not better than most audiobooks I've listened to, so at least I have that going for me. Anyway, you guys will know as soon as I do when the book is live on Audible (and will also be available on iTunes and Amazon). I am already working on the Audible version of The Peacemakers (which is one of my favorite books in the series), as well as War of Ghosts in my spare time. Thanks for checking out the series. I'll keep you posted! Yo, Peacemakers! The sixth book in the Code of War series is available now on Amazon.uk, and will be released everywhere else in a few short hours! I'm stoked, as this book has been a long time coming and I hope it makes up for the gap between Spirit Warrior. Before diving in, I hope you will also check out War Dog, the short novella that provides a lead-in to this new adventure. It's only a dollar, and will certainly give you a burst of hit-em-across-the-face action.

Don't miss the opportunity to discover the action-packed military/sci-fi series in the vein of G.I. Joe and 80s men's adventure novels! Join Joe Braddock and his warrior brother Danny Callbeck as they battle against the unstoppable private military, Olympus and see why it is "what GI JOE movies should have been like!" (M. Joseph Murphy, author of Council of Peacocks) Pre-orders for The Forsaken are live! Coming the 28th of July will be the sixth book in the Code of War series! Joe Braddock's war against the private military company, Olympus takes a dramatic turn as he must face the return of an old enemy: Titus. Having gone AWOL after the war in Venezuela, Braddock has resurfaced in South Sudan. Working with his father, Leo Lennox and his Vagabond army, Braddock wages a single-minded war against Olympus, who for the first time in its history faces a complete collapse due to the ravaging effects of the Stream Withdrawal. Into all of this, Titus, the former Imperator of Olympus, returns at the head of an army of disaffected Olympus Centurions, known as the Forsaken...and he will stop at nothing until he has claimed the life of the man he hates most: Joe Braddock. It's action by the boatload as the Peacemakers return in their latest action-packed adventure. You can find and pre-order it now on Amazon Kindle here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B089LM7SNX The novella included in the Code of War boxed set follows the Bulgarian/Russian merc Krieger on a mission into the South Sudan as he searches for the AWOL Joe Braddock. I always wanted to write a separate story about the whacked-out man born in Bulgaria, raised in Russia with a German name. When I envisioned the Peacemakers, I wanted some sort of "tank" character who met every situation with a Schwarzenegger-mentality, as in obliterating everything in sight to gain the win. He morphed more into a comic relief at times, so War Dog, the new novella, allows me to bring the character back to the one-man-army notion I always wanted for him. War Dog will be available for separate pre-order in June for an individual release this July for .99 cents. In the meantime, check out the five-book collection now to read it now! www.amazon.com/dp/B088GY8Z1J Work is going well on the Forsaken. It's shaping up to perhaps be the darkest of the series. When I began writing the series, one of the things I had the hardest time grasping was the character of Joe. He was meant to be an all-American hero, like the familiar trope you've seen in movies and books a million times (his last name is a deliberate take off the character played by Chuck Norris in the Missing in Action films). I knew that once we got to know him a little, I would begin taking him down harder paths - testing him with the brutal realities that Olympus consistently presents him.
The Forsaken finds Joe at a crossroads in his life - fighting Olympus away from the Peacemakers. It's in this story that he once again meets the man who took everything from him - the former Imperator Titus. I wont ruin too much of the story, but suffice to say, much blood will be spilled and tons of action will be had this July when The Forsaken releases. Pre-orders will be available early June. Hope you guys pick it up! (*note, cover art subject to change) The digital box set of the first five books in the Code of War series is available now on Amazon Kindle. This beautifully designed set includes an exclusive novella featuring Krieger, titled 'War Dog'. You get over 1500 pages of action (well over 500,000 words) for half the price of all books combined.
